Record trade with MOL shares at the BUX

Yesterday trading with MOL shares reached both record price and volume at the Budapest Stock Exchange. At 3 am, for example, there was a single acquisition of HUF 60 billion which is larger than most analyzers have seen on the Hungarian market. At the end of the day MOL shares topped at HUF 30,000, which was a steep 6% increase for the day.

In these two days MOL has gained about 10% leaving smaller investors baffled and wondering about the background of the sudden change. Only yesterday MOL rejected OMV's offer for negotiations, saying that it has its own clear agenda and intends to follow that on its own.
